This 3-Day workshop with Rob Grimm focuses on the preparation, styling, and lighting needed to execute commercial beer, cocktail, & liquor photography at the highest level.
Day 1: On day one we explore commercial photography with an intro into the industry & marketplace. Rob gives an overview of pricing, budgets, marketing your product, and preparing for the shoot. Rob also opens up blink bid and we explore real life estimates with real clients. We get into cameras, gear, and everything you will need to get started. We end the day with a classic Beer Pour on white to create the perfect flawless beer pour and the preparation of beer styling.
Day 2: On Day two we continue with beer and switch our focus to beer bottles, the preparation, the lighting, and styling of environmental beer shots with set building. In the second half of the day we introduce liquor bottles and explore some of Rob's standard lighting setups to light liquor bottles for his clients and the challenges involved.
Day 3: On Day three we explore cocktails, the preparation, styling, and building of sets to create an image using fake ice, various glassware, and numerous lighting and set designs to create a lifestyle cocktail image inside of any studio.
