RGG EDU is seeking an experienced, highly deatailed oriented Photography/Film Producer for our studio in St. Louis, MO producing in-house documentary film based projects based on and about commercial photography shoots that all have an emphasis on education and learning. We make documentarys on well-known image makers. The Producer is responsible for scheduling large photo shoots, often multiple shoots at once, which includes booking crews, talent and locations, packing for on-location shoots, as well as budgets, billing and administrative functions within the photo studio operation. Ideal candidates will have a strong knowledge of techonolgy, a well developed network of crew, and above all else will be a strong problem solver with a backup plan to everything. Your backup plan has a backup plan.
- Coordinating in-house studio photo shoots in order to meet budgets
-Coordinating on-location photo shoots
-Coordinating projects with the director and executive producers to ensure shoot is realisitcally schedudlued, on-task, and plenty of backup solutions are in order\
- Keeping projects on schedule and communicating the status of every shoot to other team members including the editing team, the marketing team, and executive team
- Improving the production process for cost, logistical and creative efficiency
- Maintaining project budgets, quoting and estimating utilizing strong negotiation skills
-Understanding of current technologies in photography, photoshop, and film production to ensure efficiencies and new procesess are met and kept.
- Recommending and providing resources for talent, stylists, set builders, and photo assistants to achieve desired results within established creative/marketing strategies
- Maintaining the organization of incoming billing, receipts, vendor and independent contractor invoices
- Associate or Trade School Degree in Photography, Media, Design, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, Business Management or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3-5 year's professional industry experience producing in a high-end, high-volume photography or film studio for retail advertising, catalog, or other commercial photography
- Project Management experience is required
- Highly organized, detail oriented, great communication skills
- A working knowledge of photography workflows and scheduling, production budgets, estimating and financial reporting and
- Proficiency with Apple/Macintosh computer platforms and related software
- Proficiency with the Google Environment, Basecamp, and

1.) Video Editor Intership -
Working with our editing team to create the worlds best photography documentaries. You are focused on storytelling and love sitting behind a desk all day creating beautiful video, clean cuts, and can match the perfect track to visuals. You will work with our three editors to provide support.
2.) Production Assistant -
Ideal for the photographer that's obsessed with gear, creating, and constantly creating images. You will travel with us on productions taking BTS photos to help tell our story. You will process and organize BTS content and keep track of our gear on productions. You must have a passport, open availability, and a willingness to do amazing stuff. You will be a critical part of the team and will have unlimited access to our studio, equipment, tutorials, and will probably learn more than any other photography job you've ever had.
3.) Graphic Design -
As a graphic designer students need to listen to their team leader and understand their the campaign needs and who the intended target audience before making design decisions. They will work on a variety of products, events, promotions, and other visual tasks such as websites, advertising, interactive guides, and banner ads.
The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines. Some of the skills that will be taught are fine tuning processes, HTML, color & composition, time management, and how to manage your creative team.
Interns will be required to assist in a variety of digital marketing campaigns. They will aid in the discovery of new untapped markets, SEO Optimization, creation of marketing copy, build digital ad campaigns, fine tune standard operating procedures for product launches and ad making, and provide help wherever needed.
This internship has multiple overlapping roles including;
Photography Assistant - Assist our lead photographer, and visiting photographers, on a variety of photoshoots ranging in topics from liquids to people. Our assistant needs a basic understanding of photography principles and some photo equipment. You will be trained to handle and work with all of our camera, strobes and continu- ous light sources. As an assistant you will need to be attentive to the shoot, aware of the photographers needs as well as anticipating what will be needed during a shoot.
Studio Assistant - We have a busy studio with sets changing on a regular basis. Keeping equipment organized and sets properly pulled together is a must. Keeping the studio, inclusive of the kitchen and client areas, needs to be kept organized. It is the job of the studio assistant to make sure that the studio maintains a level of organi- zation to keep multiple projects flowing.
Our internships may be the coolest internships in the world. Based around individual projects catered towards your skill set, you come aboard learning about various aspects of production in one of the funnest industries in the world. With access to incredible production gear and technology you become part of the team traveling the world shooting documentaries.
